Instead of using double exposures or painting from double negatives we now have the technology available to use to make these changed in post-production, allowing for quite astonishing results.
Use digital software such a Photoshop to create a composite image which visually appears to be a documentary photograph but which could never actually be.
The final image
I have little experience with Photoshop and compositing images. However, I have not doe an image like this for a very long time. I had to re-watch YouTube tutorials as I had forgotten the steps.
The above photo is not amazing, I should have taken more time to cut the image’s out and smoothed the edges out more. However, I am pleased with the final result and the children enjoyed taking part.
