I have researched this for assignment 3.
This is my daughters latest diagnosis. I wanted to explore this further as a way for me to ‘stepping into her shoes’, for me to find out more about her needs and to spread awareness.
I couldn’t find any photographers who has done anything similar to what I wanted to achieve.
If I search ‘sensory processing disorder art’ on Google Images, a few paintings/illustrations attracts my attention. I have added them below.



These images are very colourful with an abstract feel to them. They all have a human figure in the middle of the image.
To me this is how my daughter transmit sensory information, or rather struggles with it. The lights, sounds and others become overwhelming she puts herself in her own colourful world.
